About Maree Oranmore FC

Maree Oranmore FC has woven itself into the fabric of the community ever since its establishment in 1989. With its membership swelling to 900 individuals across 52 teams, the club boasts a commendable history of achievements.

Competition Proceeds will Fuel Club Expansion

Maree Oranmore FC’s most substantial endeavour to date is the Win a Home in Oranmore competition. This initiative holds immense significance as it aims to generate funds in support of a recently approved planning proposal for all-weather, floodlit 9-a-side and 5-a-side pitches. These new pitches will be situated adjacent to the existing ones at the Maree Community Sports Complex.

Adjacent to the proposed facility lies Maree National School, which will enjoy complimentary access to these facilities. These all-weather pitches will primarily serve during the winter months when natural grass surfaces are unsuitable for play and other sporting activities are limited.

The club holds a genuine commitment to making these pitches available to all members of the sports and local community.

Governance

Our governance structure consists of dedicated board members who are passionate about the club and its mission. The team is made up of a group of volunteers based mainly in Oranmore and Maree. Board members receive no expenses and enjoy their involvement in the club’s success.
